About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and quantitative Risk Analyst to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and emerging risks within the insurance portfolio.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and present findings and recommendations to management and relevant committees.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, and compliance teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of existing risk controls and recommend improvements.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in risk analysis and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Risk Analyst or in a similar quantitative role within the insurance industry.
• Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data manipulation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience with risk modeling , stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical information to non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
