My client is looking for a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant – SAP S/4HANA They are looking for someone to start ASAP 6 month + contract Location: The client is based in Germany, but this is a remote role; must be based in Germany Level: Senior Consultant Role Overview We are seeking a Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant with extensive experience delivering complex SAP S/4HANA data migration programmes.

The consultant will take a key role in defining and executing the data migration approach, with particular focus on secure migration pathways, role-based access controls, authorisations, and the protection of sensitive data throughout extraction, transformation, staging and loading activities.

This is a senior, client-facing position requiring someone who combines strong SAP data migration expertise with the confidence and credibility to operate effectively between the end client and consulting partner.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, validation, loading and reconciliation. Define and manage secure data migration pathways, ensuring appropriate access controls and authorisations are maintained throughout the migration lifecycle.

Ensure migration tools, interfaces and staging environments are appropriately secured and aligned with relevant security and compliance requirements. Act as a senior point of contact between the end client and consulting partner, ensuring alignment across both organisations.

Challenge assumptions and proposed approaches constructively where they create delivery, data quality, security or compliance risks. Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and maintain momentum when there are conflicting priorities or viewpoints. Provide clear reporting on migration readiness, risks, dependencies, issues and progress.

Required Experience Significant hands-on experience as a SAP Data Migration Consultant, ideally in a senior or lead capacity. Strong experience delivering data migration within SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes. Proven understanding of SAP data migration methodologies, tools and processes.

Experience working with security-sensitive migration workstreams, including access controls, roles, authorisations and secure handling of data. Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, loading, validation and reconciliation. Experience operating within large-scale, complex SAP transformation environments.
