About the Role

This role is critical for overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to financial reporting processes. You will manage month-end closing, general ledger reconciliations, and support audit activities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute all aspects of the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and journal entry postings.
- Prepare detailed financial statements and management reports for various stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
- Support external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA(SA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills , problem-solving abilities, and strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
