About CIS ConvergentIS is a Calgary‑based SaaS company and the developer of Rio, our enterprise resource planning platform. This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role — you will work directly with the CEO and have real ownership across month‑end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, banking, and SAP administration.
The CEO will work closely with you during onboarding and ongoing, providing context on the business and supporting your ramp. This is an opportunity to grow into a senior finance role in a fast‑moving tech company, with direct exposure to executive leadership and the full financial picture of the business.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month‑End Close Own the full month‑end close cycle including journal entries, revenue accruals, depreciation, and deferred revenue reconciliation Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis Prepare and maintain monthly SaaS P&L, KPI reporting, and the rolling financial plan Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for our banking partner (ATB) and support India ent
