The Opportunity: We are currently recruiting for a Senior Associate (5 years’) to join our Sydney CBD Property team, working alongside a reputable Partner and his team.

Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers is a well-established Australian mid-tier law firm with offices across Sydney, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Hobart and Melbourne.

We provide comprehensive legal services across property, commercial, litigation and dispute resolution, employment & industrial relations, and personal injury law. In this role, you will act for a diverse range of clients and play a key role in supporting transactions.

Key responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leasing agreements Sales and acquisitions of commercial assets Conducting due diligence and transaction management General commercial property advisory work Successful candidates will have: 5 years' experience from a highly regarded property practice Experience in commercial leasing Experience with high value property sales and acquisitions and acting for sophisticated clients Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills A commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail Review contracts Manage lease assignments Mentor Junior members of staff A blend of working in the office & remotely Annual Christmas gift Employee Assistance program IT equipment provided to our people to work remotely Annual COD Health dollars towards your health & wellbeing Social gatherings and sporting groups Internal learning and development program Annual practising certificate paid for How to Apply: If you're excited about this opportunity and what we have to offer, please submit your application.
