About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join their fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced remote diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes and models using sophisticated software and diagnostic tools.
• Analyze technical data, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and sensor readings to accurately identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable guidance to field service technicians via phone, video conferencing, and digital communication platforms.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common and complex automotive issues, including best practices for diagnosis and repair.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to report recurring technical problems and suggest improvements for vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic equipment, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong focus on diagnostics.
• Proven expertise in using advanced diagnostic scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, engine management, powertrain, ABS, and SRS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical information to non-technical personnel.
• ASE certifications (A6, A8, L1, L3) are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
