You will architect distributed backend systems, design high-capacity databases, and guide backend engineering practices for major client platforms.

As a Senior Backend Engineer at TheWebVale, you will design the foundation for multi-tenant SaaS tools, ERP backends, and high-volume transaction engines. You will ensure our client platforms handle scale, maintain data security, and operate with zero unplanned downtime. You will collaborate directly with our founder and guide junior engineers throughout our two-to-three week release cycles. You will shape our technical roadmap and deliver dependable software architectures that clients own 100%.

• Architect scalable backend services, databases, and microservice boundaries.
• Design fault-tolerant data pipelines and disaster recovery backup protocols.
• Lead technical reviews of backend pull requests to enforce studio quality standards.
• Mentor backend engineers on query optimization, caching, and clean architecture.
• Audit server infrastructure and API endpoints for security vulnerabilities.
• Establish database indexing strategies and connection pooling configurations.

Requirements

• Possess a proven track record of mentoring developers and leading technical designs.
