Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
• Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
• Review process designs and modifications to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training on process safety principles and procedures to relevant personnel.
• Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and industry standards, providing expert advice on their application.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical engineering with a strong focus on process safety.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, hazard identification techniques, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with international safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, COMAH).
• Proven ability to analyze complex safety data and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
