Our client, a reputable civil construction contractor operating across Western Canada, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale and multi-phase infrastructure projects while providing leadership across multiple project teams.
Oversee and support Project Managers and field teams, providing guidance on execution strategy, risk mitigation, and project delivery. Mentor and develop Project Managers and project teams, supporting workforce planning and resource allocation.
This is a fully remote role offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in British Columbia, with travel to project sites across the province required up to 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale or complex civil construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives. Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships, acting as a senior point of contact for project-related matters.
Support contract negotiations, major change orders, and high-level commercial decision-making. Drive performance by monitoring KPIs and implementing strategies to improve project outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, reporting, and operational workflows. Champion a strong safe
