Senior Construction Planner (Remote)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Planner to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role is essential for developing, implementing, and monitoring detailed construction schedules for a variety of projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate project sequencing, resource allocation, and timely delivery. As a remote employee, you will leverage advanced planning software and communication tools to coordinate complex project timelines effectively, contributing to the successful and efficient execution of construction endeavors across different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive master schedules for construction projects using P6 or similar software.
• Analyze project scopes, drawings, and specifications to create detailed work breakdown structures.
• Identify critical paths, potential delays, and resource constraints within the project schedule.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to gather updates and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Prepare regular progress reports, schedule updates, and performance analysis for management.
• Contribute to the bidding process by developing realistic and competitive construction schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for remote work.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively from a remote location.
