Senior Consultant - Supply Chain & Logistics (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics to join their fully remote consulting team. This role supports businesses, including those in the Richards Bay area, by optimizing their supply chain operations, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. You will analyze complex supply chain networks, develop strategic recommendations, and guide clients through the implementation of best practices. As a remote consultant, you will leverage advanced communication tools to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams, driving significant improvements in global and local supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end supply chain assessments, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and implement strategies for procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve logistics efficiency.
• Advise clients on the adoption of supply chain technologies, such as WMS and TMS systems.
• Collaborate remotely with clients to ensure successful implementation and adoption of supply chain solutions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to achieve cost savings and service level improvements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, consulting, or a related operational role.
• Demonstrated success in redesigning and optimizing supply chain networks.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning and execution software.
• Excellent remote presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
