About the Role
Our client is a leading cybersecurity firm seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join their fully remote team. This role involves providing expert advisory services to clients, assessing their security posture, and designing robust security strategies tailored to their unique needs. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and compliance to guide clients through complex security challenges. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, a strategic thinker, and passionate about delivering high-impact security solutions across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and risk analyses for clients across various sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic cybersecurity roadmaps and solutions for clients.
- Advise clients on best practices for data protection, incident response, and compliance.
- Lead client engagements, managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Develop proposals and presentations to secure new consulting engagements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a similar advisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex cybersecurity projects for enterprise clients.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), regulatory requirements (GDPR, POPIA), and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, client-facing, and communication skills.
- PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar advanced certifications are required.
