Senior Database Administrator | SQL Server Specialist | 100% Remote
We are looking for a top talent to join a multinational company with a global presence.
This role centers on enterprise-level database solutions across on-premises and cloud environments, with emphasis on performance tuning and high availability. Location: 100% Remote (Spain-based candidates only)
Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage high-performance SQL Server databases.
Administer Azure SQL Server and Azure Managed Instance, ensuring security and availability. Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS ETL packages. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, replication failures, and security vulnerabilities.
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies (Always On, clustering, log shipping, replication). Lead database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption initiatives. Ensure compliance with database security best practices and industry standards.
Understand and implement DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD for database deployments. Familiarity with NoSQL databases and hybrid cloud environments.
