Important Disclaimers **Please note: A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs.** **Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future** In this role, you will: • Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated and reliable application deployments. • Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform and related automation tools. • Deploy, monitor, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments. • Partner with development and security teams to integrate security controls, compliance checks, and best practices into deployment pipelines. • Automate operational processes through scripting and configuration management tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application performance issues across cloud environments. • Support platform reliability, availability, and scalability initiatives across enterprise applications.

What you need to have to be considered • 5+ years of experience working in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation roles. • Strong hands‑on experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible. • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks. • Hands‑on experience managing cloud environments within Microsoft Azure. • Experience deploying and managing containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment best practices. • Ability to collaborate effectively across development, operations, and security teams.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
