About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital exhibition strategies, from concept to execution.
• Source, curate, and manage a diverse portfolio of digital artworks and media content, ensuring alignment with artistic vision and organizational goals.
• Engage with artists, galleries, and cultural institutions globally to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Utilize analytics to track audience engagement and inform future content development.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote digital exhibitions and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digital art, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
• Oversee the digital archiving and preservation of artworks.
• Mentor junior curatorial staff and provide guidance on best practices.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively for digital projects.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Art History, Curatorial Studies, Digital Humanities, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in digital curation, exhibition planning, or digital art management, preferably within an arts or cultural institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital art forms, contemporary art movements, and curatorial practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex digital projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of digital platforms, content management systems, and virtual exhibition technologies.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Experience with audience engagement strategies in a digital context.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting related to digital content performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
