Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their fully remote team. This position is critical for conceptualizing, designing, and developing advanced electrical systems and components, requiring a high degree of autonomy and technical expertise. You will be responsible for leading design efforts, mentoring other engineers, and ensuring the technical integrity of our client's electrical solutions, contributing significantly to product development and innovation from anywhere. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems from concept to production.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct performance analysis, simulation, and verification of electrical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams, including firmware, mechanical, and software engineers.
• Ensure designs meet all performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in electrical design and product development.
• Expertise in analog and digital circuit design , power management, and microcontrollers.
• Proficiency with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, PADS) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE).
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity principles.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work independently.
