Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will play a pivotal role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions to management.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy across all reporting.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis projects and business case development as needed.
• Continuously improve financial processes and reporting tools for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CA(SA)) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements, GAAP/IFRS, and budgeting processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
