- Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information.
- Map subsurface geological features, including faults, horizons, and isopachs.
- Perform quantitative seismic interpretation (e.g., AVO analysis, impedance inversion).
- Characterize reservoir properties and assess potential hydrocarbon volumes.
- Collaborate with geophysicists to refine seismic data processing and acquisition parameters.
- Contribute to exploration prospect generation and maturation.
- Prepare detailed geological reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay updated on the latest seismic interpretation techniques and software advancements.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science field.
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in seismic interpretation within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Expert proficiency with industry-standard seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite, Hampson-Russell).
- Strong understanding of geological principles, structural geology, and sedimentology.
- Demonstrated experience with attribute analysis, AVO, and inversion techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
