About the Role

You will be responsible for interpreting complex subsurface conditions, advising on foundation design, slope stability, and ground improvement strategies from your remote workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert geotechnical advice and analysis for diverse projects, including major infrastructure, energy, and building developments.
• Interpret site investigation data, including boreholes, CPTs, and geophysical surveys, to assess ground conditions.
• Develop detailed geotechnical design reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Advise on foundation types, slope stabilization measures, and earth retention systems.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure the geotechnical aspects of projects are sound.
• Stay abreast of advancements in geotechnical engineering technology and methodologies, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 8 years of extensive experience in geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design.
• Proficiency in advanced geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio) and data interpretation tools.
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geological processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex geotechnical challenges and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with demonstrated success in a fully remote professional capacity, contributing expertise to projects anywhere from Benoni to international locations.
