Senior Logistics Manager - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Logistics Manager to lead their logistics operations on a fully remote basis. This executive-level position involves developing and implementing comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across the organization. You will be responsible for managing a global network of logistics partners, driving innovation in supply chain solutions, and leading a remote team to achieve ambitious operational goals. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in end-to-end logistics management and a proven ability to drive significant improvements from a remote setting, impacting operations nationwide and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic long-term logistics and supply chain plans.
• Oversee all aspects of domestic and international logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers.
• Implement technology solutions and best practices to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing remote logistics team.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management , with a significant portion in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing complex logistics strategies.
• Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and operations effectively.
