Senior Management Accountant (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and accomplished Senior Management Accountant for a fully remote position. This role is critical in driving financial performance and providing high-level analytical support to senior leadership across the organization. You will be responsible for complex financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing deep insights into business performance. This is an exceptional remote opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional, ideally based in or near Sandton , to contribute significantly to business strategy and growth without the need for daily office presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to analyze business performance, profitability, and key trends.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive review.
• Provide strategic financial guidance on new business initiatives, investments, and market opportunities.
• Oversee cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the finance and analytics team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CMA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in management accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance measurement.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and Excel.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
