  • Prepare, post payroll journals, execute month-end account reconciliations, and handle payroll tax lodgements alongside routine reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve complex payroll inquiries, offering trusted, expert advice and exceptional customer service across client teams.
  • Navigate enterprise payroll platforms to streamline operational workflows and contribute to continuous system enhancements.
  • Assist the broader finance unit with auxiliary accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

What You Bring

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis/reconciliations), M365 suite, and experience with dedicated enterprise payroll/timesheet systems (Astute Payroll and Xero highly advantageous).
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end payroll compliance, statutory lodgements, data protection standards, and payroll-to-GL reconciliations (Australian payroll exposure a strong advantage).
