Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Senior Pharmaceutical Scientist to join their innovative, globally distributed research and development team. This pivotal role, operating fully remotely, will focus on advancing novel drug discovery and development pipelines within the pharmaceutical sector . You will be instrumental in designing and executing complex experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the strategic direction of research projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, adept at collaborating virtually, and passionate about making a significant impact on future therapeutic solutions, driving progress from the comfort of their home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and analysis of complex R&D projects, including drug discovery and formulation development.
• Develop and validate innovative analytical methods for characterizing drug substances and products.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemists, biologists, and regulatory affairs specialists, in a remote setting .
• Interpret experimental data, draw robust conclusions, and present findings clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Author scientific reports, research protocols, and contribute to patent applications and regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance within the research team.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related life science field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry , with a proven track record in drug development.
• Expertise in drug formulation , analytical chemistry, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex scientific information.
• Proficiency in common laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation.
