Senior Process Chemical Engineer - Remote

Our client is looking for a highly accomplished Senior Process Chemical Engineer to join their innovative team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve energy efficiency.
• Conduct rigorous process hazard analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP studies, and develop robust safety protocols.
• Provide expert technical consultation and troubleshooting support for plant operations globally.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the engineering function.
• Manage process engineering aspects of capital projects, ensuring successful and timely execution.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong track record in design and optimization.
• Expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and proficiency in P&ID development.
• Demonstrated experience in process safety management (PSM) and risk assessment.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, critical for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote-first environment.
