About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Remote Buyer to play a pivotal role in their global sourcing strategy. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing international suppliers. You will be responsible for identifying cost‑saving opportunities, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring the procurement of high‑quality goods and services to support the company's worldwide operations. Working fully remotely , you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across different time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies to achieve significant cost reductions and value improvements.
• Lead complex negotiations with key global suppliers, securing favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier performance, establish KPIs, and conduct regular business reviews.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to understand cost drivers, supplier capabilities, and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product and service requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical sourcing practices in global purchasing .

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or sourcing, preferably with international exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale negotiations and manage complex supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyze spend data and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Experience working effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
