Senior Remote Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new chemical processes and equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

• Provide expert technical consultation and troubleshooting support for existing chemical plants and operations remotely.

• Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, planning, execution, and reporting.

• Conduct process safety reviews and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff through virtual collaboration.

• Develop technical documentation, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, and operating manuals.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.

• 8+ years of comprehensive experience in chemical process design, development, and operations.

• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects independently.

• Strong expertise in process simulation, PFD/P&ID development, and equipment design.

• Deep understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) and hazard analysis techniques.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
