About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their innovative team, working entirely from home. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the conceptual design and development of new chemical processes and manufacturing systems.
• Utilize advanced process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) for modeling and optimization.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop detailed P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications for remote review and approval.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and project management teams through virtual communication channels.

Requirements
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in chemical process design and development.
• Expert proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, and separation processes.
• Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to present complex technical concepts remotely.
