About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Remote Insurance Risk Manager to lead their risk management initiatives from anywhere within Richards Bay 's operational scope. This senior position involves developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats across the organization's insurance operations. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the company's assets and reputation by ensuring proactive risk identification and effective control measures. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry's risk landscape, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive risk-aware decision-making throughout the business, all within a remote working context.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management strategies and policies for the insurance business.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks, including market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Design and oversee the execution of risk mitigation plans and controls to minimize potential financial and reputational damage.

Requirements
