Senior Remote Project Manager - Global Software Rollouts

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of global software rollout projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead and motivate geographically dispersed project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support) and external clients.
• Oversee the implementation of software solutions, ensuring successful deployment and user adoption.
• Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
• Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and company best practices.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness of deployments.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different time zones and cultures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years focused on software implementation or rollout projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex software projects, preferably with a global scope.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Teams).
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams effectively.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
