Senior Remote Project Manager - Tech Implementation

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Remote Project Manager to lead critical tech implementation projects, with a primary operational base in Sandton . You will manage the full lifecycle of complex technology deployment initiatives, ensuring successful integration of new systems and solutions across the organization. This role requires a leader adept at managing distributed teams, navigating technical challenges, and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will be key in driving technological advancements and ensuring seamless transitions to new platforms and processes in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale tech implementation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, developers, and external vendors, in a remote setting.
• Track project progress meticulously, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure clear, concise, and consistent communication with all project stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, and outcomes.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies and ensure user adoption and satisfaction post-implementation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager , specializing in technology implementation and systems integration.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead remote technical teams effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies, software deployment, and data migration projects is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
