This role is instrumental in leveraging satellite and aerial imagery for exploration, environmental monitoring, and asset management. You will be responsible for acquiring, processing, and analyzing geospatial data to provide critical insights that support decision-making across exploration, production, and environmental stewardship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities • Acquire, process, and analyze various types of remote sensing data (e.g., optical, radar, LiDAR) for geological, environmental, and operational applications. • Develop and implement advanced algorithms and workflows for feature extraction, change detection, and data fusion. • Interpret satellite imagery to identify potential exploration targets, monitor environmental conditions, and track infrastructure integrity. • Collaborate closely with geoscientists, engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate remote sensing data into their workflows and analyses. • Develop and maintain geospatial databases and ensure the quality and accuracy of processed data. • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in remote sensing technology and methodologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements • Minimum 6 years of experience in remote sensing or geospatial analysis, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry or related sectors. • Proficiency with remote sensing software platforms (e.g., ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, ArcGIS with extensions) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). • Strong understanding of electromagnetic spectrum principles, image processing techniques, and GIS concepts. • Experience with data from various satellite constellations and sensor types. • Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Geography, Environmental Science, Geosciences, or a related field. • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
