Senior Reservoir Engineer - Simulation Specialist (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Build, calibrate, and run complex 3D dynamic reservoir simulation models for various field development scenarios.
• Perform sensitivity analyses and uncertainty assessments to optimize production strategies and economic outcomes.
• Utilize advanced simulation techniques, including compositional modeling and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) simulations.
• Analyze simulation results and provide clear, actionable recommendations to management and operational teams.
• Collaborate effectively with geologists, geophysicists, and production engineers to ensure integrated reservoir management.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in reservoir simulation technology and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in reservoir engineering, with a significant focus on simulation studies.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG Suite, Petrel RE).
• Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid properties, and numerical modeling techniques.
• Proven ability to interpret simulation results and communicate complex technical information effectively.
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fully remote work setting.
