About the Role Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Retail Operations Specialist to join their remote team and support their extensive network of stores across South Africa, with a focus on operations based out of Pretoria .

You will work closely with store management, regional teams, and cross-functional departments to streamline processes and ensure consistent execution of company standards in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and optimize retail operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability. • Analyze operational data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve store performance and customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new store openings, remodels, and the rollout of new operational initiatives. • Create and deliver training materials and programs to store teams on operational best practices and system usage. • Conduct virtual store audits and provide recommendations for improvements in merchandising, inventory management, and operational compliance. • Serve as a subject matter expert for retail operations systems and tools, supporting troubleshooting and user adoption.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in retail operations management or a related field, with a significant portion in a strategic or specialist capacity. • Proven track record of successfully implementing operational improvements and driving efficiency in multi-store environments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into practical solutions. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively in a remote setting. • Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and data analysis tools. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
