Your impact: Lead the technical strategy for complex opportunities across Austria and parts of the DACH region Build trusted relationships with CISOs, Heads of IT, and security architects Translate Microsoft security capabilities into clear operational and business value Help grow Ontinue’s footprint in Austria with strong local market understanding and global backing What you will do: Assess customer security posture, requirements, and technical requirements Deliver compelling presentations and live demos of Ontinue’s MXDR services Lead technical workshops and architecture sessions Own and drive RFP responses, including customer-facing RFP presentations Challenge customers’ legacy or fragmented security approaches with modern, best‑practice solutions Ensure a high‑quality handover of new customers to account management and delivery What success looks like (your first 90 days) Build strong working relationships with Sales Executives and fellow Solutions Engineers Develop a deep understanding of Ontinue’s MXDR platform and services Confidently contribute to customer discovery and early-stage engagements Support Austrian partners and regional stakeholders What we are looking for: Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, and the broader Microsoft E5 Security stack Solid understanding of identity security, endpoint security, cloud and network security Experience leading customer‑facing technical discussions and workshops Familiarity with the Austrian and DACH SOC landscape Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (native) and English Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with sales, product and delivery teams Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events Must-have Native German speaker, fluent in English (written and verbal) Proven experience in a Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer or comparable customer‑facing technical role in IT security Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands‑on experience Come as you are!

Your mission: As a Solutions Engineer based in Vienna, Austria (or nearby), you will act as a trusted technical advisor and the technical win leader in complex security engagements. You work closely with experienced Sales Executives to shape security conversations from early discovery through solution design, RFP defence, and customer handover.
