Senior Site Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to join their dynamic construction team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role involves overseeing the technical and engineering aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to blueprints, quality standards, and safety regulations, all managed remotely. You will be instrumental in providing expert guidance, resolving complex engineering challenges, and maintaining seamless communication channels with on-site teams, project managers, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and efficient project execution environment despite geographical distances.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote engineering oversight and technical direction for construction projects
• Review and approve project plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Conduct remote site inspections and progress monitoring using digital tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage and resolve engineering issues and challenges that arise during the construction phase.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and project quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors, contractors, and design teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in site engineering and project management within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage projects remotely, utilizing digital communication and project management software effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is highly advantageous.
