Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of diverse building projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.

• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and design teams remotely, providing technical guidance and support.
• Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations prepared by other team members.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and construction managers, through digital platforms.
• Prepare comprehensive structural reports, specifications, and tender documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) software and advanced structural modeling tools.
• Deep knowledge of seismic design principles, steel and concrete structures, and facade engineering.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success working autonomously and collaboratively in a fully remote setting, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration, serving clients across various regions including Vereeniging and beyond.
