About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations across various regions, including Stellenbosch. You will analyze complex data sets, identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify performance bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models, collaborating with sales and operations teams.

• Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor supply chain performance.

• Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to inventory management, network design, and transportation strategies.

• Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to support strategic supply chain planning.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations, or a similar analytical role.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.

• Proven experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and network modeling techniques.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences in a remote setting.
