About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecoms Software Developer to join their innovative, fully remote engineering team. This role is central to designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software solutions that power modern telecommunications services. You will contribute to critical projects involving network management systems, data analytics platforms, and customer-facing applications. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other developers to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software that drives the future of connectivity, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy robust backend services and APIs for telecommunications platforms.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for network performance monitoring, data processing, and service provisioning.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and system architects to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Implement cloud-native solutions and microservices architectures using modern development practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in software development.
- Contribute to the architectural design and technical roadmap of the company's software products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development , with a significant focus on the telecommunications industry .
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go, and experience with relevant frameworks.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems , microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and working with large-scale data processing.
- Knowledge of telecommunications protocols and standards (e.g., SIP, Diameter, SS7) is a major advantage.
