Senior UX/UI Designer (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and forward-thinking Senior UX/UI Designer to lead user experience initiatives within their fully remote team. You will be responsible for defining the user journey, designing intuitive interfaces, and championing user-centered design principles across all digital products. This is a senior leadership role for an individual passionate about creating seamless and impactful user experiences, working from anywhere in the world but contributing to a dynamic tech company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from user research and conceptualization through to high-fidelity prototyping and final UI design for complex digital products.
• Conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Develop comprehensive user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business objectives and user needs.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across all platforms.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence within the remote team.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a significant portion in senior or lead roles.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, complex problem-solving, and delivering exceptional digital experiences.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Deep understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and data analysis for design optimization.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
