About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer to join their established, fully remote team.
Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of water resource management projects, including dams, canals, and distribution networks. • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses to assess water availability, flood risks, and water quality issues. • Develop and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for water-related projects. • Manage project teams and provide technical direction, mentorship, and quality assurance for remote engineering staff. • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources. • Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is essential. • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in water resources engineering , with a strong focus on water supply and management. • Proven expertise in hydrological modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM) and hydraulic design. • Deep understanding of water quality, treatment technologies, and environmental regulations. • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suited for a remote work environment .
