About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee sanitation operations across multiple sites, with a primary focus on supporting teams in the Western Cape region. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cleaning strategies, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and optimizing operational efficiency through remote supervision and advanced management techniques. You will lead a distributed team of cleaning professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of modern cleaning management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures remotely.
• Oversee operational budgets, resource allocation, and supply chain management for cleaning services.
• Conduct virtual site inspections and performance reviews of cleaning teams and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all managed sites.
• Utilize technology and data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, mentor, and manage a remote team of cleaning staff and supervisors to ensure high performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cleaning operations management, with a proven track record of success in a remote capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of sanitation best practices, cleaning technologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in using remote management tools, software, and digital communication platforms.
• Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
