Remote Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and motivated Remote Project Manager to join their expanding team, working from anywhere within South Africa. This role is designed for a self-starter who can manage projects autonomously, ensuring successful delivery across various departments. You will be responsible for guiding projects from conception through completion, utilizing digital collaboration tools to maintain seamless communication and workflow with geographically dispersed teams. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets.
• Facilitate virtual team collaboration, ensuring clear communication channels and effective task management.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to stakeholders using digital platforms.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and accessible.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or similar certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on remote or virtual project delivery.
• Proficiency with online project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) and collaboration software (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
