Procurement Manager (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead their procurement efforts on a fully remote basis, supporting operations near Soweto . This leadership role is instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies that optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, and ensure a resilient supply chain. You will manage a virtual team, oversee major sourcing initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes using digital tools. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global procurement strategies to achieve significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote procurement team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Oversee the negotiation and management of large-scale, complex supplier contracts and agreements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role, preferably in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, global contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Advanced proficiency with procurement software , data analytics tools, and ERP systems .
