About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive E-commerce Operations Specialist to join their fully remote team. This critical role focuses on ensuring the seamless day-to-day functioning of their online store operations, enhancing customer satisfaction through efficient processes. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating order fulfillment, and troubleshooting any operational issues that arise, all from the convenience of your home office. This position is ideal for an individual who excels in a remote setting, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to optimizing e-commerce workflows to drive business success and a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily e-commerce operations, including order processing, shipping, and returns.
- Monitor inventory levels across all sales channels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, such as order discrepancies, shipping delays, and customer service inquiries related to fulfillment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operational activities and transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce operations or logistics.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with shipping carrier portals and logistics software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.
