Remote Catering & Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Catering & Event Coordinator to manage and execute seamless catering experiences for their clients, working entirely from their Nelspruit operational hub. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction by meticulously planning and coordinating all logistical aspects of catering events. You will be the main point of contact for clients, liaising between them and the culinary and operations teams to bring their visions to life. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a passion for event planning, thriving in a dynamic remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end coordination of catering events, from initial client inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Develop event proposals, menus, and detailed logistics plans in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with the culinary team regarding menu preparation, timing, and delivery requirements.
• Liaise with venue contacts and suppliers to arrange event logistics such as setup, décor, and equipment.
• Ensure all client requirements are accurately documented and communicated to the relevant operational teams.
• Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions to ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination, catering management, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of event logistics.
