About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Remote Insurance Product Developer to conceptualize and launch new insurance products from the ground up. This role operates within a fully remote framework, requiring self-discipline, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of market needs and actuarial principles. You will drive the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and market research to development, pricing, and launch strategy, ensuring our client remains competitive and responsive to evolving customer demands. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to create market-leading insurance solutions, contributing significantly to the company's growth and expansion in the digital insurance space, irrespective of geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

• Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for new insurance products.

• Design and develop innovative insurance products, including coverage terms, policy structures, and pricing models.

• Collaborate with actuarial, legal, marketing, and IT teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.

• Create comprehensive product documentation, including policy wordings, sales materials, and training guides.

• Develop go-to-market strategies and support product launch initiatives.

• Monitor product performance post-launch, making necessary adjustments and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in insurance product development, management, or a related strategic role.

• Proven track record of successfully launching new insurance products.

• Strong understanding of insurance principles, underwriting, actuarial concepts, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative environment using digital tools.
