Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects, including buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using advanced CAD and BIM software .
• Collaborate remotely with project teams, architects, and clients to understand design requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations prepared by other engineers.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural engineering technologies, materials, and building codes.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project submissions and client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural design for diverse construction projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification is required.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD. Pro) and Revit/BIM .
• In-depth knowledge of international building codes (e.g., Eurocodes, AISC) and local South African standards.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work independently.
