Remote Information Security Lead

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the organization's information security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee security operations, including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Manage and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering their growth and development.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure security is integrated into all projects and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive cybersecurity programs.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), risk management, and threat intelligence.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, application security, and data protection.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
