Remote Senior Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will collaborate virtually with a geographically dispersed team of engineers, architects, and project managers, leveraging cutting‑edge technology and best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of major civil engineering projects, including site development, transportation networks, and water/wastewater systems.
• Produce detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications using advanced civil engineering software.
• Conduct thorough site analysis, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers remotely.
• Actively participate in virtual project meetings, client consultations, and peer reviews to ensure design integrity and project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Professional Engineering license (PE or equivalent) is required.
• Expert proficiency in advanced civil engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley suite).
• Proven ability to manage design tasks independently and deliver high-quality work within project deadlines.
