Remote Program Manager - Social Impact

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Program Manager to oversee and drive Social Impact initiatives from anywhere. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker adept at managing complex projects, fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of programs designed to create positive societal change. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and management of multiple social impact programs and projects.
• Define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with organizational mission.
• Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting, ensuring efficient use of funds.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors.
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of project coordinators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote work culture.
• Monitor program progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Policy, International Development, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or social impact sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from conception through completion.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for social programs.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
